This was posted to Elevating Childcare’s Facebook page, and it immediately hit me how perfect it was for this site. I could also see hanging it up in spaces where people who work with children congregate. A wonderful visual reminder as we all head back to school…
beyond the stoplight 
I love this. It’s true for children and so often we just see the behavior, we don’t look at the real cause behind the behavior. It’s true for adults also though. I am a director in a preschool setting and see this with the teachers I work with. Their behavior is a reflection of how they feel, whether they verbalize it or not.
